Our House Hunting Trip in Cincinnati

I know this post is long overdue, but I HAD to have these pictures on here! Mind you they're all taken with my cell phone, and have been posted on Instagram, nonetheless a blog post was in order (wink)! I took WAY too many to post all of them, so I thought I'd share just my favorites! I think all of these were taken Sunday (day 3 of our trip). It was really the only day we weren't house hunting and/or traveling. It was so nice to just explore this cute little town we would soon call home!

That morning we woke up to some serious fog. I had only seen fog like this, maybe, once in AZ?! We were going to head to the hotel's gym for a morning workout, instead we went on a jog around the neighborhood. Best. Idea. Ever.
It wasn't very long into our run that I was already stopping to take pics! This old building covered in ivy and surrounded by fog...oh, bestill my heart. I'm already planning to take my kids back for a sesh! Then, maybe another mile or so down the road, was one of the cutest houses I ever did lay my eyes on. I fell in love with this bike, and did my best impression of Veruca Salt, "I want one...I want it now. I want the WHOLE world...and, I don't want to share it. I don't care how...I want it now."
But, I digress. Because, just a few hundred yards away we came upon this!
And, you know what?! We took it! Because, how often do we get to?! Our lives are so scheduled and rushed, and we had no place we had to be, and, it was glorious! Probably some of the most fun I've had. EVER. It was my Christmas Morning, and in that moment, I fell even more in love with exploring. I can't wait to do more of it!
Later that afternoon, we traveled to Kentucky to visit my cousin Stacey and her family! We also went to *manifest, which she explains to be Octoberfest in May! It was quite the place to people watch and we really enjoyed the time we got to spend with her and her family!

*Manifest- where a group of individuals goes to get manicures! Okay, originally a typo, I decided to keep it that way since we got a pretty big kick out of it! My husband asked if we'd be going to pedifest too?!
