The 4-1-1, Maternity

Maternity shoots are designed to capture the memory of your pregnancy. Believe you me, it goes by quick, and you never know when it might be your last. Unless you know, in which case...you will definitely want pictures.

Q. When is a good time to do maternity pictures?

A. I suggest around 30 weeks of pregnancy. This allows you a good baby bump without being to big, and uncomfortable. By this time you should be past any morning sickness, and getting excited about preparing for the baby's arrival. The excitement is present, and so is the "glow".

Q. Where?

A. I suggest (but merely suggest) locations where mood can be felt. Some where quite, soft, and relaxing. Your home, a quiet meadow, or a dessert landscape would all be good choices.

Q. Should I bring him along?

A. Of course! He is a big part of the experience, and we can capture the love that your baby already feels.

Q. What should I wear?

A. Now this can very. But I suggest something that will accentuate your belly. This can be done typically with a tighter fit. Preferably a dark and/or solid color. You can always bring a few choices, and outfit changes are always encouraged.

Q. How long will my shoot last?

A. Maternity shoots can last 1-2 hours. It will really depend on you.
