The other night I laid awake thinking about the long day I just had, and the one that was about to ensue the next day. I couldn't fall asleep. I was restless. Finally I decided to cuddle up next to my sleeping husband, and listen to his heartbeat. This usually calms me down. Takes my mind off everything else, and I begin to count the beats. Before I know it I am fast asleep.
We all have are own ways of winding down. Things we do before we go to bed to help are bodies know it's time.
My husband likes to read. Me? Not so much. I like to talk. About anything and everything. I snapped this picture one night before bed.
