The beauty of photoshop...better, not different.

As my photography has improved, I spend less and less time in photoshop. Don't get me wrong I looooove photoshop. Warm, soft, faded, vintage, and antiqued photographs are my very favorite! Of coarse all of that is done in photoshop. However, I think getting images right in camera is of utmost importance. But like I said warm, soft, faded, vintage, and antiqued photographs are my very favorite! I'm not really into changing things around so much that the photograph begins to look fake. Don't get me wrong. There are those who are true photoshop artist, and there work is beautiful. I'm however not one of those people. I like to use photoshop to make my images look better, not different. With all that said I'd like to show you a prime example.
A few weeks or months ago, I really can't remember. My friend Stevi emailed me this picture. She wanted to use it for her save the dates. She asked if I could take the red eye out, as well as the red in Ryan's face. I told her no problem.

Then I sent her this final image...

I enhanced the color, and sharpened the image. See? The beauty of photoshop...better, not different.
